HERDSA Executive 2025-2027 Election

Nominations for the 2025-2027 HERDSA Executive have now been received and the number of nominations exceeds the number of vacancies for the required HERDSA Executive positions.  In accordance with the HERDSA Constitution an election must now be held.  


Meaningful Assessments in Higher Education

On Friday 21st March 2025, the Assessments Quality Special Interest Group hosted an online conversation on “Meaningful Assessments in Higher Education”. Three panellists were invited for this timely conversation.

Welcome to TATAL Webinar 2025!

Our recent webinar held on Wednesday 12th March 2025 provided an insightful exploration of TATAL (Talking about Teaching and Learning), a vibrant community of practice dedicated to reflective teaching. The webinar was hosted by Mei Li and Robert Kennelly, and with the expert facilitation from colleagues from the HERDSA executive, Kwong Nui Sim, Lee Partridge, Alice Brown, Manisha Thakkar, and Gesa Ruge. The audience was from the broader tertiary teaching and learning community in Australia.

HERDSA life Members are individuals who have made a substantial, prolonged contribution to HERDSA through their service to the Society and/or have made a distinguished contribution to higher education. The HERSDA Executive is now calling for nominations for new life members. The Executive will review nominations and elect up to two new life members who will be recognised at the 2025 conference.
