Season's Greetings - Prof Kogi Naidoo, President, HERDSA
As the year ends, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve shared in 2024. This year has been one of growth, collaboration, and achievement, and I am immensely proud of what we have accomplished together as a community.
We have celebrated significant milestones, engaged in meaningful discussions, and contributed to shaping the future of higher education. Whether it was through our vibrant annual conference (in Adelaide), impactful HERDSA publications, or branch and SIG events, I acknowledge the dedication of our members to fostering excellence in learning and teaching, our collective efforts have made a tangible difference.
I am deeply grateful for your passion, commitment, and support throughout this year that continues to make HERDSA a thriving and dynamic organisation. We welcomed a record number of new members this year and extend thanks and acknowledge our long-standing members for their continued contributions and collegial support.
As we look forward to 2025, we celebrate this year’s achievements demonstrating our shared values advancing HERDSA’s mission and goals. The upcoming year promises new opportunities, challenges, and possibilities for growth.
On behalf of the HERDSA Executive, here’s wishing you a joyous holiday season filled with love, peace, and happiness with family and friends. Stay safe!
Wishing you a fulfilling 2025!
Warm regards,
Prof Kogi Naidoo
