Free online seminar - Leading the design of learning experiences
18 July 11am

It has become increasingly common for us to use a mix of digital technologies, digital communication tools and face-to-face interactions to design experiences for our learners. However, it can be challenging to ensure all these elements fit well together and lead to a cohesive experience for the learner. The emerging practice of learning experience design, combines methods from user experience design and service design with traditional learning design, to provide a purposeful design approach that helps us work in this challenging and ever-changing environment.

Joyce Seitzinger is the director of Academic Tribe and a frequent speaker at education and learning events. Joyce has been a learning designer since 1999 working in Europe, New Zealand and Australia. For the last two years her focus has been on exploring and adapting user experience and service design tools and strategies to improve learning experiences. With Academic Tribe, she works on innovative and strategic educational projects, that can benefit from this new design approach and was involved in running the first fully online LX Conference. You can often find Joyce on Twitter as @catspyjamasnz.
